"It is true, there are so many eating disorder problems out there and pressure to be thin, thin, thin. Your article really grabs your attention and makes you think "What is it"? What's the diet plan? People in this industry (and outside) really do need to be educated on how to nourish their body right...so they feel satiated and satisfied...and still maintaining the body they want or that is required by the industry. I think you are definitely on to something wonderful....new and different. It is something that so many people suffer and struggle with. It is a great thing that you have tuned into this huge problem and have done the research to create this diet plan.
A story of my own relating to this topic....I have always been very lean...I was a gymnast until I was 18 and have always enjoyed exercise and eating healthy. In my teens, I read many books on nutrition, health, exercise..etc. I have taken chlorophyll and acidophilis since then as well. I'm definitely a "water-aholic". I remember going to a new modeling agency and when I was in their office....the agent thought I needed to lose 10pounds. I was 5' 4 and 104. I remember...leaving the office thinking to myself that that lady was crazy. I was strong minded enough to not let it bother me...because I knew that she was delusional....and I didn't think my life would end if I didn't become the model I wanted to be at the time. But I can see how it could really mess with a persons head if it is something they want so so bad and it means having to starve themselves because that's what the industry wants. They can easily fall right into a destructive eating disorder. Again...the industry really needs your help." |
